Question by goody: Will this work for Clove cigarettes / cigars?
Now that the Clove cigarettes are censored, US stores are now trading the DJarum (clove) cigars that are akin but not quite the same to the cigarettes. My question is can you purchase the “cigars” from the stores, then somehow unwrap the cigars and re-wrap them with cigarette papers?? Frmo what I’ve scan, it seems the tobacco in the the cigars is the same, just the wrapping is antithetic to make it a “cigar”. If I unwrap the cigar, it seems like I could re-wrap with a cigarette paper.

I believe technically a cigar is tobacco wrapped up in a tobacco leaf (or brunet paper with tobacco in it).So technically I think your idea is sound, but why not just smoke the cloves they way they are now?

NO
The tobacco in cigars is too coarse to roll cigarettes with.
No. The clove cigarette paper is what made it crackle (which Kretek is the onomatopoeia for) and the filter on clove cigarettes was sprayed with a sweetness that is inimitable. Your best bet is to move to Indonesia. I’m going. We can share rent.
Indonesia is not taking this lying down though. They are claiming it violates World Trade Orders. See this article:
