@kingben1425 Actually he didn’t use a torch but a gas-lighter – which basically does not warp the taste of the cigar. When lighting a cigar it is best to use one of these or maybe a splint because – as you said yourself – torches, but even sulphur-containing matches can screw the whole thing up.

@Zawone80s i use a razzor like a box cutter it works ok just make shur it is clean new blade and put flame on it for bout a minute and then cut were the guy shows i like shwisher sweets XL hope this helps

It’s worth the investment to have a cutter. It will allow you to not only cut the head properly, but also allow you to cut the cigar short if you don’t want to smoke it all at once. Cheers !
